Bridging the Gap Between Urban Expertise and Local Insights
Story
The Story Behind ASBB
Bridging Big-Picture Strategies with Local Realities
Mani, an economist and founder of ASBB Consulting, grew up in Yellowknife, NWT, where she developed a passion for making a social impact through a community-oriented lens. With a business degree and a master’s in Economics from the University of Alberta, as well as a master’s in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Mani has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors.
During her time as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, Mani recognized a gap in the market: while large consultancies excelled at big-picture strategies, they often missed the nuances critical to success in rural areas. Driven by a vision to bridge this gap, she founded ASBB with the mission to provide tailored, sustainable solutions that truly address the unique needs of rural communities. Now based in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Mani continues to lead ASBB in empowering communities through informed, data-driven strategies.
